I took so many great pics at Detroit Maker Faire Craft Show at
The Henry Ford on Saturday, that I had to do a part 2! {check out part 1
here, and part 3 is over on my
facebook page} They will also be in
my flickr ASAP! Enjoy the rest of the show, and I hope to see you at
DIYpsi on August 13th in Ypsilanti, Michigan!

| Cute bunny rattles from The Wind & The Sail. I saw a kid playing with an alligator from them on the shuttle going back to our car. I wanted to take a pic, but didn't wanna be a creep :) You can find more animals in their Etsy shop. |
 |
| LOVING these robot head magnets. By Deets' shop is cool, but make sure you check out my pics on facebook, they had bugs made out of old recycled vacuum tubes that aren't in their Etsy shop. |

| Fiercely proud, we Detroiters are! I love how we can work together to rebuild our community and support our local artists that make our lives more enjoyable. Together we are MAKING The D a better place to live in and visit. Handmade Detroit hosts events throughout the Metro Detroit Area, from holiday shopping events in gorgeous historic buildings, to family street festivals in the summer... providing a place for local artists to sell their creations. They have a calendar on their website that lets you know about crafty events around Metro Detroit. Bookmark it! |

| Bettula makes gorgeous home decor and jewelry from nature. {Please hunny, if you are reading this, PLEASE can I get this frame for my birthday?} Sorry. But seriously, is that not amazing?? You should see the cuffs she makes. Go look at her shop! |

| On Saturday, the craft show was out in the halls of The Henry Ford Museum {or Harry Honda as my family affectionately refers to it after my 12 year old daughter called it that by mistake a few years ago}. I LOVE this place. I came here as a kid a lot and have been a member since we moved back to Michigan 4 years ago. I seriously credit this place for part of my "I can do anything" attitude. |

| MY favorite prints, all quilted into bags, slippers, purses, pillows, blankets.... Hip to Piece Squares also has hair accessories and pouches in vibrant colors mixed with neutral linen. Check out her blog too, I like it. |
 |
| I bought a print of Sparklepants Industries' Michigan collage. I am painting a frame for it next weekend. It is going to look so pretty in my house. She also makes SWEET shadowbox art as well. You can check them out in her Etsy shop. |
 |
| Raygun Robyn!! I love her attitude, her jet pack, her tattoos, and her art! |
 |
| My Marigold embroiders geographical landmarks, such as lakes, rivers, states, and will even create a custom order for you. I think I may have her make me one of Crescent Lake. I love this one of Detroit. |
 |
| What a cute girl... with her fun different heads. Of course I had to ask her to try on the cupcake one for us. Check out AgnesMakes.com for more info about her costumes, installations, and other sculptures. |
 |
| The Metro Detroit Etsy Team was well represented. You can find team member shops by searching "THEDTEAM" on Etsy. Jaden {my two year old} decided to play with the settings on my camera when I let her take a few pics, so all of the pictures from inside the Museum are AWFUL. This was one of only two that I could sorta preserve. The upside? She took this pic. I'm gonna have to start listing her as a contributor here on The Guide :) |

| How creative is aKNITomy? Their Etsy shop welcomes you to the world of knitted anatomy. |
Make sure you check out the rest of the pics on my Facebook page and Flickr.
