Today's featured store, Full Spiral Designs, has amazing jewelry, they have rings, cuff links, necklaces and more, but I really want to showcase their unbelievably gorgeous EARRINGS! You may notice, from my postings, that I'm a bit of a tomboy, I favor the strange and adorable over the feminine and sophisticated. However - one thing I love to wear is earrings. I have short hair and a good set of focal point earrings is all it takes to really update my typical tee shirt and jeans style.

"My name is Jess and I’m a bit of a citizen of the earth – currently residing in Melbourne, Australia. I make jewelry because I find a lot of joy in working with my hands to express something wordless that comes from my constant wonderment at the world. Jewelry specifically because I enjoy the detailed craft, and because I love seeing people wearing my creations to bring a bit of beauty and enchantment to their aesthetic.

My primary creative inspiration is the Mother herself. I never cease to be amazed by the beautiful and unusual concepts that nature articulates so perfectly. I also draw a lot of inspiration from the materials with which I work, and I recognize that anything I create is a partnership between my will and theirs. In terms of style, my gorgeous grandmother is my icon! She taught me that classic never goes out of style, that it's worth it to buy good quality things and take care of them, and that a bold accessory can make an outfit.

I make jewels for the urban forest dweller. Full Spiral Designs features handmade hammered and wire-wrapped jewelry, using high quality semi-precious stones, metals and other organic materials. Artist Jess draws upon natural, spiritual and archetypal forms combined with a playful application of color and shape to create jewelry that is both emotionally significant and boldly stylish. The jewelry explores the interplay between the natural and manmade through creative expression of shapes, colors, textures and materials. Ultimately, it’s a celebration of adornment – of making ourselves into living works of art, sharing our sense of joy and wonder and appreciation of the universe."
