The Guide's Cause of the Month
January- Operation Sweet Dreams

Every month, The Guide will feature a cause that touches us. We will donate a percentage of profits from our Etsy shops, Lotus Flower Herbals and Rhee Dunn, to this cause.

This month we are featuring Operation Sweet Dreams.

Operation Sweet Dreams is a project that has turned into a cause. Last year Cynthia Delgadillo started Operation Sweet Dreams as a project to provide free pajamas to children of low-income families and elementary school students in low-income areas. Since then it has turned into a cause. Their mission is to make sure every child in Southern California has a pair of pajamas even if their family is struggling. If you would like to refer someone to their program, please visit their pajama referral page.

Operation Sweet Dreams is based out of Corona, CA and work mainly with children in Southern California. They accept pajama referrals from all over the US though, and have shipped pajamas to children outside of California. If you are in another state and would like to help them reach the children in your community please email their founder directly at cynthia@operationsweetdreams.com.

Check out their website for more info on this great cause, and please visit their blog as well for updates and more info on their current events.
There are many ways to help Operation Sweet Dreams. They are in need of pajamas sized newborn - girls/boys size 14/16. You can ship your pajamas to Operation Sweet Dreams, P.O. Box 6464, Corona, CA 92878. If you're an online shopper you can register with iGive (free registration) and a portion of all your qualifying online purchases will be donated to them to purchase new pajamas.
