Anny Frechette is the fashion designer for Anny May, and is fascinated by handmade articles. She is a French Canadian artist who lives in a beautiful old house in a small village by the St. Lawrence River, a few miles away from Quebec City, Canada. Anny has a workshop at home where she creates quilts, rag dolls, clothes and accessories of all kinds. She likes to use her creativity to produce clothes and accessories which respect the environment, and works with ecologically friendly materials such as recycled and organic fabrics. Fashion, for her, is a way of expressing herself. Every person is unique, and handmade clothes reveal a personality in a unique way!
