SiSi, from Handmade Giveaways, finds and delivers your daily dose of handmade giveaways. She is also an artist. Her store Peacefully Folding, sells handmade Origami Creations. She was inspired to start her Handmade Giveaways website in July 2009, after hearing stories of other artists' successes with giveaways.
When Handmade Giveaways first opened, SiSi scouted Artfire and Etsy and asked a few people if they would be interested in sponsoring a giveaway. Lately, she's been contacted by others who have heard about the site from other artists, friends, and family.
SiSi has such a great assortment of giveaways! The handmade items featured in some recent giveaways include: jewelry, clothing, purses, things for babies and children, and bath and body products.
Entering the giveaways is really easy! For the sponsored giveaways with prizes donated by handmade artists, usually you just need to visit their website, and comment on a favorite item. It gets people to look at their site and get to know the artist more. I have found many talented artists this way.
